The National Mortgage Rates are updated on a daily basis. Rates are available only on business days (Monday through Friday) and they are not available on weekends and national holidays. Mortgage Lenders do not adjust rates on weekends or national holidays.
The rates provided are for the three most popular and common residential mortgage loans; 30 Year Fixed, 15 Year Fixed and a 5/1 ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage, fixed for the first 5 years).
